Market crunch may have delayed the production of the Model S by the electric car manufacturer Tesla until 2011 but recent photos in a BusinessWeek article reveals how it is as it cooks on a prototype phase.
The auto industry is still buzzing about the Tesla Model S. Everyone is still waiting if it will really look bulkier than its competitor Fisker Karma. The car is expected to debut next March in the Geneva Motor Show.
According to Tesla officials, the Model S will rule the market. It is said to be designed to compete against Blue Tec E Class of Mercedes Benz, Chevrolet Volt, and the GS450h of Lexus.

Come the end of 2008 and BMW will astonish the world. The famous German car manufacturer is planning to introduce a fleet of cars that will be capable of running on hydrogen. In case you are thinking that this is a dream, be assured that it is not. For a long time the German car manufacturer has been toying with the idea of marketing cars that will run on alternative fuels. Egged on by this news, there are manufacturers all over the world who are planning to manufacture and market BMW alternative car fuels.
It is obvious that when a car running on alternative fuels will be released, there will be a demand for BMW alternative car fuels too. However there are many people who are questioning are will it be feasible to introduce such a fuel?

Another form of alternative fuel used to power eco friendlier cars is clean diesel, generically known as ULSD. TDI Clean Diesel from Volkswagen, and used in the Jetta models, is apparently a cleaner burning diesel because of the low-sulfur composition that contains as much as ninety-seven percent less sulfur. This in turn dramatically changes the amount of emissions that are present while driving the Jetta. As a result, the diesel is said to reduce a whopping ninety-five percent of total emissions. TDI stands for “turbo charged direct injection”.
The TDI Clean Diesel Jetta comes in two models, a standard four-door sedan and the wagon version. Of course, VW has always been known for its fuel efficient vehicles from the little Bug to the family oriented suite of cars such as the Jetta.
